Interesting facts about Saint-Eustache
Saint-Eustache was partially ravaged on December 14, 1837 during clashes between the Patriotes and the British soldiers of General John Colborne. The latter set fire to the village, destroying or damaging sixty houses. To this day, the damage caused by a cannonball is still visible in the stonework of the Saint-Eustache church.
With its five screens and the capacity to accommodate more than 3,000 cars, the Ciné-Parc Saint-Eustache is the largest in the province. It should be said that only seven are still in business!
